Mary's Governance

Wooster Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 12 2026

There has been a small case of vandalism in the secondary offshoot space. The spareness of L’s work was very sadly disrupted by a group of child delinquent vandals who snuck into the gallery in the late hours of the night. Mary’s Governance is looking into the marks in question. Two of the works remain on view and all others have been removed as they are, in L’s opinion, no longer fit to be seen by the greater public.

Based on elevator security footage, it is now unclear whether or not the vandals in question were child delinquents, or, rather, adults crouched in low positions squat to the ground in oversized jackets. The marks left on one of the works seems to imply that one of the culprits was named "Ed" (possibly short for "Edward"). L and the gallery have decided not to press charges. Upon deinstallation, L has decided that the marks are actually nice ornamentation rather than rude defacement.
